Sorry to hear that Mark, list adjusted accordingly.
Hope lurgey is soon gone and injury is not to serious.

Going to look at weather forecast later today, I can only say be sensible and safe.
If its forecast to be wet and claggy a waterproof cag is essential.
Got to think if you went down for any reason, how long would you last.
Rescue team will be out but would still take an amount of time to find you.
I always carry to much, can't stand the potential embarrassment if I needed the team to carry me off and not having enough kit.
I will be carrying full body cover, waterproof cag and windproof leggings, a decent Lowe Alpine hat, merkalon gloves but a pair of waterproof gloves in my pack and a light weight fleece plus map and compass suitable to navigate the course, others just have relevant bearings, which is OK unless you go wrong somewhere, like the year I ended up dropping out of the clag and seeing Dove Stones reservoir complex . That was when we went round Dean Head and not over Black Hill (as if thats an excuse for ending up at Dovies) .
I did finish the race though.
Look on here tomorrow for compulsory kit.

A pair of comfy wellington boots might be handy jodj if the weather down there is anything like it is up here

Ian, Are you still taking a diversion at Crowden to pop down and run the Gravy Pud half way round Tankys?

You're virtually on the course so you might as well!! I'll buy you a t-shirt if you do!
