Well done Wharfedale, saw Ted Mason on leg 1 with a smile on his face, usually a mask of sheer determination, mind you he was going downhill

Compo, I must pass on my thoughts regarding the death of your Nora Batty today after fighting a long illness.

    SALFORD SALFORD SALFORD
After years of trying, after years of getting lost, after years of the team falling apart on the eve of the event, today we pulled it off!!! Well done to all 12 of the team and the B team who would have been used if problems happened. Wet conditions under foot made some sections interesting. I am really pleased we have finally managed to win this event. Thanks to all the organisers and the marshalls on route. Sorry I couldn't stay longer at the presentation but had to get back to sort things out.

Well done Salford, Dark Peak Bridesmaids again

The Dark Peaks vets were 14th or 15th overall + 2nd Vets I think. Superb conditions if a little damp under foot. could have done with a bit of fog

Merry was that you that said hi as I "ran" up the last climb of leg 4, I was in griting my teeth going up there and wasn't seeing too clearly.

It was good fun though and one of the best social runs of the year.

It might have been me Ian. About 200 metres from the finish, red waterproof top - you looked like you had enjoyed that climb
