Now its nearer the actual day (well a bit anyway) I have realised that Amex's original instruction talks of starting from Braithwaite at 10 whilst deejay's helpful instruction talks of meeting at (Keswick?) Moot Hall at 10. Have I unearthed a devious plan to ensure that I don't actually show up?

I think the plan was to meet at Moot Hall, and pretend to be starting a winter Bob Graham. Then when no one was looking, jump in a few cars and drive to Braithwaite leaving a few cars in Keswick as there's not much parking at Braithwaite...

    A dummy BG - I like it.

The must be plenty of 'Before' photos outside the Moot Hall.

Your cool as a cucumber are you............

....You could always climb into one of the boats on Derwent Water. Just be up in time before the first launch.

This year I've been to Colombia, Pakistan, Israel, Bangladesh and I'm sorting out a trip for the New Year to meet a fella I've only ever spoken to on the phone near the Estonian / Russian border. I think I'll be okay for a night in Cumbria Mind you the thought of a fully fired-up Amex strutting his funky stuff in 45inch white flares scares me sh*tless!

This year i went abroad for the first time in 12 years.

45 inch flares - sounds like im going to be abit under-dressed in a shirt and jeans ha (I didint manage to pluck up enough motivative to go shopping for new jeans + shoes today.)
