I was wondering about how the sketch got done. I've done a few drawings of the fells over the years and secretly wondered about getting that gig! Seriously though, I think it's a lovely idea having a mystery sketch and am looking forward to seeing this year's.

Any idea when it'll plop onto the mat?

The sketch was done from a photo, according to Mr Booth. I know what it's of, so I won't give up the secret.

Vincent's speciality is painting ships, particularly battle ships. If you go onto the Trafford AC web site(www.traffordac.co.uk) and click on photos you'll see a list. Click on 'Vinny Booth at work' and you'll see a couple of photos that give a general impression of his work.
