    Re: Today's Training

I'm chucking in a bit of bike work now as well, I do a 2.5 mile run 3 times a week when I get home from work, its all I can stand on the pavements without my shins playing havoc. I dont know if its poor stretching or something else causing it but I'm hoping adding my work ride in will help. I do the last 10miles in on my bike so thats 40 miles a week, when I was doing this before the clocks went back I could feel the difference after just a week or so. Heres hoping!

Being a newbie on the fells I can do with all the stamina I can muster!

Staying in tonight - the truck went skidding on the roads so what chance have I on my two feet? Gonna press on with the gins & tonics!

SNOW! Couldn't resist!! Only my second run of the year and the first one off road. Just a quick up and down Holcombe Hill. All looking quite Christmassy.

Great run on a nice carpet of snow from Combs village over to Fernilee and Errwood reservoirs and back via Whitehall. Hardly needed the headtorch. Nice meal in the Beehive with a pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord and then a careful drive home on icy roads.
