Now that IS Antisocial, particularly as Tomsk was surely lighting up your way ahead with his super duper head torch.

What light? Either his torch was not working or he was much further back than he thought!

Still a great race, thoroughly enjoyed it and in my top 10 of best races ever.

Assuming I have figured out attaching this, there should be an aerial pic attached of what the course looks like in sunny weather!!

Thanks, it looks very nice, it may be the picture but the descent from cp 2 and then clinmb to summit do not look as steep as they seemed at the time.

From the map I thought it was going to be a big pull from CP1 to CP2 but on the actual run it didn't seem too bad. Looking at that shot shows why - CP1 is much further up the slope than you expect.

If you haven't come across it, this site (with Parlick in the highlighted grid square) http://www.geograph.org.uk/gridref/SD5945 - is useful for shots of race routes.

I've done this route many, many times and still managed to go wrong on the last bit to the trig.
When visibility is that poor and your trying to feel your way round, its surprising how your preconceptions are confounded.

Yes I had not realised that from Nicks Chair to Paddys Pole you were running along a ridge, it would have been so easy to go off, especially to the L where there was no fence.

Well the pic is from an unusual angle Makes Parlick look quite flat - which it isn't...
