I'll take that as a yes then!
Meanwhile I have posted a polite enquiry on the coaching thread to see if anyone from there would be interested in assisting/participating.
If Stolly turned up as well we could enjoy both the casual and the planned approach to participation and development!
I'm a definite maybe!
Hoping to do the Fellsman the week after... thing is, I normally have the kids at weekend. Don't want to start any arguments!
You may find some of the free stuff done by Peak Rangers useful. And buy that OL1 map that's an order!

Also why not get it all rolling by driving yer car up to top of Snake Pass above Glossop and going for short flat run up towards Bleaklow along Pennine way. On a clear day you could do half a mile out and half a mile back and never lose sight of the car.
The journey of a thousand miles and all that.
Before this thread sinks here's what I propose given that there is some level of interest...
I'll crank this thread up again nearer the proposed date and see if we can get something together.
OK that's enough for now.

And I think I did them all in one race once
I kind of get the gist of things but that really scares me!![]()
I think bleeding nipples is more of a man problem to be honest - I'm not saying I particularly look at women's nipples at the end of races (honest) but I've only ever noticed men suffering from this. A well attended road race of say half marathon distance or longer is best, especially among the contingent that are running the distance for the first time.
Anyway vaseline is the solution and I absolutely plaster 'various bits' of my body in it before long runs.
A quick google and I found this
