I was lucky to see John Martyn a few weeks ago, on his Grace & Danger tour, at The Lowry Theatre In Manchester.
He was wheeled onto stage, all 20 stone of him, a little incoherent his guitar was laid on his belly, his singing wasnt quite as clear as it used to be but he could still play that guitar. Fantastic
