Had an awesome day out yesterday - bus up to Threshfield, along the Trollers Trot course to the top of Barden Moor and then back to Ilkley via Bolton Abbey/Middleton Moor - 21 and a bit miles! A hell of a lot more snow than I counted on which made things considerably slower/more difficult, but the moors looked awesome, I got a bit of a tan, and I took great pleasure in passing two groups of mountain bikers
Here's hoping the snow's still about next weekend!
After yesterday's Wadsworth trot, a gentle amble up here, plenty of snow and ice. Busy around the edge of the plateau, but very quiet up the river.
Just 14.5 miles this morning, managed to twing left ankle and also felt in hip and buttock. So cut it short would have done about 20 otherwise.
7.5 miles today around the Great Orme including the Nick Beer 10k Race.
2 hour walk this morning, 2 hours in gym this afternoon, bloody ache now not good!![]()
50 headtorch minutes up Hambeldon in the snow after a l o n g day at work. Nice virgin snow and not another soul to be seen.
