Given my MP3's still up the spout, I had to rely on CDs in the car today!

So on my trip to Manchester and back I crammed in Belle & Sebastian - If You're Feeling Sinister and Echo & The Bunnymen (1987's self-titled album).

Had the windows down and the system up...fantastic!!

As I type this, listening to this:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnFyAXFv5gs
(Bow Wow Wow - Go Wild, for if like DT, you can't get YouTube )

On Steve Lamacq's show on iPlayer. Good fun

I am having a country evening

Taylor Swift - the current darling of the 12 years olds and huge in the states according to my daughter.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6s5cxBN8mA - the my boyfriend is so sweet song

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4A6Dvdb6KUU - The ex is a complete jerk song

Its fairly pleasant teenage stuff and she apparently writes it herself

A classier version of the same sort of thing (though still sentimental tosh) is this, I really like the video.

Wogan was playing Taylor Swift last week. Then he asked his producer who she was. Just the biggest selling artist in America last year came back the reply....

Still one of my Youtube fav's

Agree there. Not my favourite Bunnymen album, but seeing as the sun was shining, I just felt like belting out Lips Like Sugar, Over You, and Ballyhoo & Bedbugs. I had an itch...

Though it pains me to agree with anyone on the forum I have to concur. Saw him many times often with these who were also v good. The second track on this clip is one of my all time faves

In fact my daughter got stoned at at BB concert when she was just 3 months old.

just dowloaded this and the rest of the album - bit disapointed so far, it a bit Fairground Attractionish but it may grow, single is great though
