Sorry to post after you mate, i've done 4 miles before and felt crap, you'll soon be back to your best

30.14 miles/4731ft in 6 hours 28 mins. Water Stalls road, near Crow Hill farm was fun, broke the ice with my weight and ended up thigh deep in icy water. From then on it became misty and finding my way over Rishworth Moor to Green Withins res was a bit of an adventure. Visibilty down to 20 yards and ended up in bogland big style. Once back down to Booth Wood res it was plain sailing apart from getting within a mile of home and finding i'd only clocked 25 miles. Forced to do a loop over Norland Moor to add another 5 miles. Finished with a dip in the river whilst eating my last mini pork and pickle pie, and i had 2 marmite teacakes on the way round as well (Just for Al Fowler)

Bloody good run but glad to back home and heading for the bath

Just replied to your whisky trail email mate! 2 courses o' pills, rest and keeping warm (i.e. not running) seem to have sorted me out....

Saddened me to find yours was the last post when i logged on to the training thread, Jan, like i said, you'll be back to your best soon, you've had a rough time time recently. Legs feel ok after today, did a good job of pacing myself and actually felt better after 20 miles than i did when i set off (Too much Guinness last night, was just gonna have two but..................) Need more of these runs in prep for the Fellsman, just hope i don't pick up an injury!!!
Keep going Jan, and cheers to Al and DT for your comments
