Just read kit check notes - Last year waterproof tops were checked with Pertex turned away, a spare thermal may be required.

Very difficult conditions for walking on higher areas indeed with severe wind chill.
Heavy snow showers; risk lightning
Showers will become very frequent at times merge virtually one onto another to give an hour or two of blizzards –
to very low levels. Thunderstorms likely.
Cloud base will vary, typically 550m, but temporarily 300m near showers, and fleetingly above summits.
A few bursts of sunshine; often poor or in heavy snow extremely poor visibility.
On High Peak: –1C but will feel closer to minus 18C directly in wind.
And in the valleys: 5C.
