You really are silly big fella, see you there
Hey Idler, I have a holiday home in Runcorn, you'll have to show me some good training runs round that way.

Good lord. Is there a smiley for jaw dropped on floor?
Loads of good runs around Runcorn, Frodsham, Helsby, Delamere, etc. Just shout...![]()
Looking forward to a good field - wll try to run myself for the first time for a few years but I do need a few more marshalls. Any volunteers??
Any body fancy car sharing from Runcorn
I'm going tomorrow but not running, planning to get there about 12:15, so am available for marshalling. I've marshalled at a fair few road races, but no fell, and am handicapped by distinct lack of sense of direction, so somewhere flippin' obvious might be best (maybe I need the "Marshalling for the first time" thread!?!).
What a great afternoon - 112 finishers, would have been 113 but my sister was late (again!).
Adam Peers 1st
John Hunt 2nd
James Ellis 3rd not bad for a 16 year old! 4th was Sam Tosh from Rossendale who is 17!!
Ladies were Andrea Roberts, Laura Bestow and Kath Harvey (whose son Leo was 3rd junior) Pennine were here in force and a good run was had by all - I managed to have a go for the first time in many years and got round in 23rd. Swoop is still in the pub as I write this. Thirsty work obviously.
Pictures from today's race, taken from the Summit of Moel Famau, are on my site....
