Hey softie, it's a bit of an extreme way of getting out of the 100 push-up challenge Glad you're okay; hope you're better soon

Cheers DT. Was one of my first thoughts that (after 'sh1t', and 'ow', and 'wtf have I just done?', natch!). Now I'm thinking my cast on my hand is shaped perfectly for grip on the pull up bar

    Sorry, bad form!

Hope it's not too painful and you repair fast.

    Darling SS,

Pheasants indeed!! I've told you before ''BOTH hands on the WHEEL'', wait 'until you get home

Please get well soon, I may need that hand. At least now you don't have to drive a Vauxhall anymore.

    Big hugs

    xxx

Hire car sorted out today and should have new car on order by end of next week. (It's a works car and insured though my employers - simples).

Well, they've told me I need to keep the fingers wiggling if that'd be of any use?

Unfortunately I do: I'm not high enough up the food chain to have a free choice. I have to pick from a list of GM cars so:

    Chevrolet? Er, no. Thanks.

Saab? Would love a 93 Sportwagon, but to maintain Saab as their 'premium brand' they don't discount them. (which means on top of company's contribution, I'll end up paying another £300 quid on top)

Which leaves me with Vauxhall, where I can get a fully specced car worth £25k for the equivalent of £16k, and not have to dip too far into my own pocket.

And I'm stuck now with having to get an Insignia hatchback (got a dog you see), which I'm not too keen on as it looks like a cheap Korean car from the back. Though the new estate doesn't look too bad.

Sken, I like you an' all, but that's a bit personal, ain't it?

Very sore and stiff. DOMS all over, probably from bracing for impact and wotnot. Had to get the missus to help get me keks on and off!
