It got flooded with sea water........along with other stuff in my bag

Various kit requirements stipulate you must carry a spare bulb but how would this work with the Myo XP as you can't just swap it easily?

    Re: Silva LX Headtorch

Anyone else found their Silva LX to be somewhat tempremental? I'm on my second headtorch unit after the first one failed (batteries were fine though)

Was out doing BG support this w/e (Saturday am) and fished it out of the bag on Sunday and couldn't get the blighter to work. Left it a couple of days and it seems to be ok now.

How is everyone else getting on?

    Re: Silva LX Headtorch

Pretty much on par with the experience of a clubmate who had an LX for one winter, 3 or 4 years ago. It ended up with the light head going up in smoke! You can't fault Silva's big 478 & 480 quartz halogen orienteering headtorches, but they appear to have 'got it all wrong' with their L.E.D. series.
