Haha, any more of your cheek and you'll somehow not reach that checkpoint, and that goes for the rest of you......

Can't run this year as I'm injured.
Is it possible to swap my place with another club member so he can use my place?

It's a fantastic race. See you there.
Just packing my kit and off to the Lakes tomorrow for a week , so no access to a PC from now until race day!!
Just to be sure, is the route from catbells the main path down toward Hawes End and then pick up the lane back to Stair?

the 'sweep to the right' off dalehead that is meant to offer a faster run down to the tarn - is this the same as the 'alternative walkers route' that Wainwright offers - i.e., setting off the top as if to go to Honister then swinging left down to the tarn?

When I ran this a few weeks ago, we took the direct route: a beeline down to the north end of the tarn. Bit steep.

I take a straight line towards tarn, straight on from summit, can't recall the bearing.....gets steep and you need to avoid the crags....but its good fun

NB: do you go head to the north end of the tarn to get up on to the High Spy path - I seem to remember it's a bit boggy down there? - or go round the south end and meet up with the 'orthodox route'?

And lastly, are you a borrowdale runner?
