Yes, about perfect too as the grass was very dry! The Hopes were in road shoes and Ron Hill in X-Talons

Enjoyed this no end this afternoon Nice to catch up with Swoop (socially, if not in the race!) and good to meet DazTheSlug and Pinno for the first time. Oh and thanks for the encouragement from Disco Stan, who quite rightly pointed out this was 'about 30miles too short for you mate'!

Well done DT, Daz and sorry Pinno i didn't see you, must've been distracted by some female in lycra, but well done.
I've watched more races than i've run in this year and i'm beginning to like it!

From what I could make out (standing at the start of the farm track) Tom Cee seperated the brothers until the very last part of the climb, but I may well be mistaken....

Enjoyed this race today for the first time. Nice to meet up with some of the forumites Swoop, DazTheSlug and Derby Tup - Never noticed Bant or Disco Stan.

The lad shouldn't have been too difficult to spot. There couldn't have been that many folks watching today's race with bare feet
