It was a lovely day for the Coledale Horseshoe, me, Amex and Deejay turned out for this tough 9 miler from the campsite at Braithwaite (although someone was not in a pony vest and i've just twigged to what Deejay meant by flack on another thread)
Still, we all survived and lived to trot another day

    Re: Fell Ponies??

Well, what a good day out, Offa's Orror, a 20k off-road race up and down sections of Offa's Dyke, from Tintern in the Wye Valley - the first chance to put my new Fell Ponies vest into action - rather marred by following a bunch of running sheep who went rather badly off course.

Well done to the Forum's Wheeze, who had showered, changed and had a three-course meal before I finished, and to Longdogs for the support and the chance to get up-close-and-personal with her boys.

With 2 miles to go we passed stables run by HAPPA - the Horse and Ponies Protection Association - was tempted to hand myself in on the grounds that I was in severe need of protection.

In the defence of young Mr. Deejay, i believe it was a club championship race, but i'm no lawyer, so guilty as charged your honour
