    Stolly's already posted he's running in Walshes A ground report would be useful, but I supsect his take on the words 'wet' and 'muddy' might have changed after his recent adventures in the Peak

    He's only got bloody Walshes so no other option!!!! Prob be too dry/hard for studs IMO................

    yes my mudometer has had to be re-synchronised. The peak district has given me a whole new outlook on the words peat, bog and mud and I will never, ever think that Plover Hill is the muddiest place on earth again - its not even close.

    As for the 3 peaks, I'm hoping to whiz up to Pen y Ghent tomorrow from Langcliffe and I'll feed back after. The thing is if they'd only run the right line off of Pen y Ghent for the race route it would be brilliantly muddy at any time of year but they do insist on running up and down the pennine way. My guess is that it will be as dry as arseholes.
