I believe I recall reading that you can leave kit with the Quartermaster in Ingleton, is this correct?

That is true for transport to Threshfield, should be in your handbook
So given the discussion re kit, is it worthwhile packing the 'kitchen sink' and then sending back what isn't required? i.e. I plan to take a Hope Vision2, but as I don't have a spare battery I plan to throw in a Petzl which I won't take unless it's required.
A myo will pass scrutiny, no spare bulb required but I took my phone with me which has an inbuilt torch and this was allowed as a back up. if not a cheap single aaa plastic torch would get you through I'm sure.
chill out you will all be worn out before the start.
Don't forget the little cutthrough at the start that allows you to lead the race for the first 100m metres or so....![]()
It doesn't have to be see through. For some reason I'd made that up. I'll just use dry-bags and hope they've got some sense, I'm sure they have.
For various reasons I may have to drive upon the Saturday morning now, I'll let the organisers know that there's a place at the school up for grabs.
Can I just say, in the spirit of getting my excuses in early, I have an infected toe nail.
