Super race - really enjoyed the route - technically a disaster as I had the worst cramp ever on Dow Crag and at one stage couldn't move for 10 minutes.
Thanks to the 2 Tod ladies for their assistance.

It had started to get me coming off Little Stand as I went knee deep in a bog, and then again as Joss sped past me as I climbed to Swirl How.
"I've only 7 hours to go" he said.

Thanks to the lady from Holmfirth who talked me in to carrying on up Caw so that at least I finished, even if it was 1 hour later than my ETA

I was half expecting Amex to catch me - hope your alright mate!

Marshalls were super, especially the one at Dow who helped me get mobile again.

I'll be back next year - better prepared.
Hi that Holmfirth Lady was me - (just joined the forum but not quite sure how to use it - properly yet!) - glad to be of help and glad you finished. Like I said, someone did the same for me on Three Shires last year when I was adament I was going to give up, so it's good to be able to do the same for someone else - that's what it's all about when you're at the back!

And sorry we didn't get exactly the same time at the end (although we tried!).

My first time doing a super long race and although I did it very, very slowly, I loved it. Thanks to all the organisers, I thought it was a brilliant day - and sitting in the pub afterwards and listening to the music was an added bonus!

Joss can think of TWO good reasons for carrying on fellrunning

Joss eyes up replacement kneecaps: "There's a plenty a padding in them fellas"

Class pic Emmi.....The Master talked me into accompanying him around Wasdale a few years ago on the promise of a certificate signed by Joss....i never received such a certificate but he did hand me a cup of water.....and my hero status was thus born...he's spliffingly cool
