As the son of an asylum seeker my blood runs cold at the thought of the BNP tasting power. The enormity of what they stand for takes the breath away. I voted Tory last year because I wanted to keep out a BNP candidate and that's not like me. (Failed to vote this time, and I use the word "failed" advisedly , because I was away on a residential and forgot to register for a postal vote.)
For God's sake read some books about the nazis, watch a film... Schindler's List or something. How can a thinking person vote BNP? My dad (you're not gonna like this Merry) fought for the Nazis and I still blush to acknowledge it; although I believe his suffering on the Eastern Front (and indeed that of the entire German nation) redeems him somewhat.
My Mam's brother was in the Welsh Guards and was D Day + 4. He won the MM in Belgium. The least I can do in his memory is not vote BNP.
The reason most migrants are here is to do a fair day's work for a fair day's pay if certain "British" scroungers had the same attitude to work there might not be quite so many job opportunities for immigrants. Think people.
CL it's not compulsory to be paradoxical.![]()
