A little under 200 kms, in 7 hours with 2185 metres of ascending. NICE

Went trough 100 miles in a few seconds under 6 hours. Very pleased, especially as my longest ride ever was 108 kms and that was a LONG time ago, when I had only just started cycling in December...

Question is, can I do this four days in a row?

    Thanks Daz...

Must say that I was thinking about your suggestion of a 12 hour race, while in the final stages of the ride. I think I am stronger on the endurance stuff than on the short, sharp stuff, like those women's national series races...

Trying my hand at a vets only race though next weekend, 2 day stage race. Should be interesting. I have been told it would suit me better, as it starts at a reasonable pace, then speeds up, which suits me as I need time to get into things, even after a decent warmup. The races I have done so far, with people that could be my children start off way too fast and I find it hard to hang on in the beginning and end up mid-field
