Twas a perfect pace.....but....i must admit....my legs are aching like they havent ached in a LONG time!
But i havent run so far with that much climb since mine and merrys coniston trip so that may be why.
That was a good day out Al, i need your support on legs 1,2,3,4 and 5 next year thanks
Don't get too anal with the training...just get out there and bash it
I think a BG would be on the very edge of my capabilities and priorities would be not to either over-train or get injured trying too hard Long days in the hills with friends would be the thing
And i shall require a pint of Guinness at the end
Sod the Champagne
Sod the pint, buy a full keg!.
Oh and DT, not sure if you've seen but ive put a link for the photos on 'todays training'
The photos have captured the mist quite well, although it looks like ive got a crappy camera.
I'll see how I feel after Christmas I love the Lakes but spend little if any time over there now. Today was just about re-aquaintance really
Understood, the BG's a big ask of anyone, get the climbing in, sort out a good support crew (not a problem for Fell Ponies) and a have a go, if you don't succeed, it's better than never trying
