Thought you'd have trotted up and down stairs a couple of times merry to get your 5000ft in

A gentle 45mins recovery run by the Wharfe is all I have to post

I did, trotted up the decking a few times with drinks for Mini-Merry, then trotted down the pub with him for a swift pint
A gentle 3m to work tomorrow and a gentle 4m home

Bloody legs are tingling with stings now and gets back to find that Mini-Merry has fallen out of a tree, nothing broken, just bruised all over and feeling sorry for himself
I was hoping to bump in to the odd forumite on the hills around the 3'ps However Merry was else where

Only saw a couple from Borrowdale coming off Whernside

any way a double Three Peaks over weekend one on Sat one on Sunday.

achey legs this morning so no race tonight.

Had a good curry in the Indian down an alley in Settle and a few pints of Golden Pippin in the pub in Clapham (forgot it's name) opposite bridge.

Well done Ian - I was on top of two of the peaks on Saturday morning but didn't see you anywhere . I did see one guy on top of Whernside running the 3p who was crippled by cramp though and a couple of others looking in fine fettle again running all three on top of Ingleborough.

I also didn't see you at Ruchee's either down the alley, which I did wander past, or the New Inn in clapham which I drove past after dropping my daughter off in Ingleton.

PS next time you're up give me a shout. Whats more on the second day a circuit of Kingsdale out of Dent would have been better (about 19 but can easily be extended to 23 by starting in Ingleton) rather than covering the same ground twice.

Unfortuanately I wasn't running which I think made them harder ( although I did power up the steep bit on Inglbugger)

I was providing mobile safety cover for a charity walk so just had to keep a position relative to the walkers.

Curry was good as was beer but had to be up at 5.00am so only the two. We stayed in Ingleborugh hall clapham

I saw some marie curie charity walkers but I think there were at least three official 3 peaks walks running on saturday. Its kind of busy each and every saturday at this time of year!

Yes they were mine. but they were well behaved 475 over the full weekend, Can't say I like concentrating so many walkers on one route but at least it keeps the other hills quieter

DP summer league race tonight, "Whinstone Whiz". ~8km of heather, bracken with a few rocky trails. Boy, the midges were biting tonight! Happy with my 6th place (1:04) since I went off the beaten track a few times.

At least I'll know the course for next year!
