Inspired by todays Tour stage your intrepid correspondent set of to re-create the suffering on some local passes.....Col de Dunockshaw and Mont Burnley road East..........wound up the finishing sprint from the bus-stop and took the win outside me house.
Only took me 90 minutes.......rest day tommorow.

Having missed the forum ride today, still managed to get out later on the singlespeed crosser.
22m/3172ft Lots of off-road and shouldering the bike including up the steep climb to Stoodley Pike (Noon Stone route)
Finished off with a pint of Guinness
Bloody grand ride!!!!
