I wont be able to go quick on the road. After ive tired my legs out running on the fells, as soon as i hit the road and try to run with any pace cramp nails me, so i have to back off alot.

I'm basically just wanting to do a long training run this weekend, in advance of Dovedale Dipper (26M ) in a fortnight
I assume you'll be at Macc Forest the week after next?
and what about Shining Tor next Wednesday?
Probably do the Forest 5... it'd be rude not to, but probably give Shining Tor a miss, which is a shame as it's great. Got Borrowdale the following Saturday and will need all the freshness I can keep in my legs to beat the cut-off!

Or have I got my weekends mixed up?

If S Tor is next wednesday B'dale isn't until the following saturday (the 1st) so you've plenty of chance to squeeze that in!! I doubt you'll have anything to worry about for the cut off time see you there

Congrats to The Master on his AWESOME performance at Snowdon!

Fantastic to see a Fell Pony listed so high up in the results of an International race like that

oh and lantern, I was up your way today: parked up at Walker Barn and trotted across the top of Macc Forest, down to Cumberland Cottage, 3 Shire Heads and finished at Brand Top... then came back!
reckon about 17M altogether - that's a long way for me!

I reckon one of those luminous vests would be ideal for you Master as I find they make you look about a stone heavier! Classic black on the otherhand is very flattering for the slightly fuller figured runner
