Winter Hill Fell Race Recce for me today with Mr Blackrod Lad being tour guide and pudgy and his two dogs coming along for company.
Really enjoyed it today, loved the mud!!!!
Im going to have to take myself round it a few times shortly to try and remember to take all the right trods.

No problem. Good company for a long run. You do like your mud and you tend to share it with all around you. Not sure who had the most mud on them you or the dogs..........

you will love the scree slope after scafell....its like rock ski-ingTa for that Darren. It won't be too spectacular - I'm still recovering from Snowdon last Sat...
Best thing about prep for a long, tough race will be stocking up with grub the rest of the week!thats if they still go this way
