I would have a nosey on flea bay there have been some entry level bikes going quite cheep this past few.Am toying with the idea of purchasing a mountain bike......budget around £150 (which i appreciate is fairly tiny) subject to wife's approval.....
any suggestions?
Is Halford's a bad place to look?
Want something that I can use on and off road that wont fall apart too easily.....

the red route is rocky and greasy in places but fun!! there are lots of fire roads too to play with you can mix and match and make some good circuits up

Are there any dogs - they have a habit of attacking the bike of late
dont see any dogs at all these days up there,folk will get put off these days as it does get busy at the weekends since they put all the new tracks in
more springs and fat tyres than you wave a stick at!
