I have often thought that it would be a good rule of conduct on the forums that if you wouldn't be prepared to say a thing to someone's face, don't say it on here for them to read.

I know this doesn't necessarily stop all innappropriate comment but it would cause people to think a bit about what they write especially as it is a pretty small community on here.

That Glen Turret seems to have got the better of me!!! Tha knows what I mean. Henry is fairly new on here and was only expressing his view on the comments he read on the Borrowdale thread which whilst I am sure are not malicious they were perhaps not the wittiest. Makes no odds to me what sexuality someone is as long as they aint a knob!!

I agree and so should punishments meted out to perceived offenders.

So the question is do we ban Al Fowler for his offensive comments or charge his parents childcare fee's for the amount of time he spends on here?
