Put them in an order of acceptance from least acceptable to most acceptable today.

The older stuff would be hoodoo for many, but I sit and watch Peter Kay and wonder how he gets away with some of the stuff he does - same with Little Britain.

I actually like them all as they are funny and at some point in all of the above, practically every walk of society has the piss taken out of them.

The argument would be that the older stuff is about getting you to laugh at the people or groups being ridiculed, where the newer stuff is ridiculing the people making the "joke" or comments. Not sure that arguments stands up as a blanket one though.
