Is anyone heading over to this from West Yorks, or anywhere vaguely around there and could I possibly get a lift, either from a railway station or somewhere else I can reasonably get to on public transport. I'd very much appreciate it.

    cheers

Weather forecast for this is getting better according to Metcheck, the rain is getting moved further and further back into saturday and they are forecasting patchy cloud, still be boggy though, fingers crossed.

    Re: Sedbergh Hills?

I did it 2 years ago for the first time - low cloud and drizzle. Couldn't see a dicky bird on the Calf.

I did it last year - set of in bright sunshine. Got to the top of Arant Haw and could see the grey pile of crap coming up Morecambe Bay.
By CP3, it started raining and within 5 minutes it was driving wind & rain and again low cloud for the rest of the race.

I'm expecting more of the same

Anything else will be a pleasant surprise.

Is there water at the CP's or do you have to carry all water?

Anyone know what the CP grid references are?
