30 miles. 4,400 feet of ascent. 2 hours 15 minutes.

This is my first proper ride in training for my charity tour ride in a month's time, which is 90 miles . It seems I'll have to get training some more, as I was absolutely boxed by the end.

Would have ridden today but did a 14 mile hike with friends instead...Chepstow to Redbrook...sun, beer, scrambling on Offa's Dyke (she didn't mind!..she had comfortable shoes on!)

Yup, Milli, you should tell him off
I, righteously did in fact cycle, a hilly 60 miles with delights such as Brynna wind farms, the climb out of Maesteg over to Cymmer, don't stop there, everything but everything is boarded up, the Bwlch via Abergwynfi (the Jewel of the valleys), 40 mph descent to Treorchy, chain gang past Wheeze's fav chippy, then the the pave back into Cardiff.
    Then I dug the garden

Glad i have it now and not next week...transwales starts a week tomorrow for me

Just purchased a new Focus road bike too....any of you experienced guys heard any reports on these machines ? Ady ? Hanneke ? Couldn't find a bad report and seem to have good components for the money.
Focus bikes are very good bikes and indeed good value for money, what did you get?

Yesterdays ride was more of a run, a very long run, up some very steep hills

3PCX recce went very well, lots of it is rideable, however, the non rideable stuff is going to be a nightmare! We were on all fours getting up a very steep grassy slope going up Ingleborough, so I can't imagine being able to actually carry a bike up there

    Dim Wibblio... dim wibblio...

I went for the Cayo team Milram replica 09.It has a sram rival group set.All my mtb stuff has been Sram (x0) and i much prefer it to shimano.
