Can I suggest the Peak District as a good, middle of the country location (I am biased of course).
I thought South Wales would be quite a good venue...

until May..i would also have suggested the Peak..however i am now way up north
come and experience some culture, excellent trails, good food and drink....visit Scotland

haven't ridden the Altura Trail at Whinlatter yet... would be fun to do with a group of singlespeeders as opposed to my last trip to Coed-Y-Brenin when I was viewed as a freak!

Whinlatter is good for me. I took my lad round one of the trails a month or so ago and it was fun.
Just taken delivery of a new Orange P7 One ss mtb at last!
Can't wait to try it out tomorrow
