If it keeps people busy looking for it whilst the results come in it might not be a bad thing!

I'd say that's pretty fast for results, nice one!

Looks like there were no cut offs, last was 4.49. Perhaps I was delirious in the excitement of the race ?? Will go faster next time though.

    Dear Mr Brightside,

Jon has asked me to post this on his behalf (he's got far too much on his plate to be cruising the Forum all the time!).

He hasn't received any emails from you - and believes that this is because you are using his old freeserve address. His email address is as per the last Fellrunner [email protected] .

With regard to cutoffs these did exist (I personally posted them on the window in the hall before registration opened) and some of the earlier ones (e.g. CP3 : 1:40) had been made very tight because of the foul weather - but that's Jon's prerogative.

I'm not a fast runner by any stretch of the imagination, but I didn't have any problems making CP3 without getting timed out - as did plenty of others.

On a personal note, I was impressed that Rick Stuart who won the race waited with the race officials until almost 6.00pm to make sure that the last runner came in OK.

    Great race, great area!
