Jon has asked me to post this on his behalf (he's got far too much on his plate to be cruising the Forum all the time!).

He hasn't received any emails from you - and believes that this is because you are using his old freeserve address. His email address is as per the last Fellrunner [email protected] .

In which case it would be good if the committee details on the Fellrunner website were update accordingly. I emailed Jon yesterday (about the refusal of the Dentdale organisers to allow substitutions) using the email link on the website which turns out to be the old one! That explains why I didn't get a reply either.

I'll mail Brett about Jon's details - I'm sure it won't take long to update.

On a personal note, I was impressed that Rick Stuart who won the race waited with the race officials until almost 6.00pm to make sure that the last runner came in OK.

Nice touch, top bloke, as are all race officials and organisers

You're right Alan i've been using his old address thanks for clearing that up, i don't doubt that the cutoffs were in place and i don't seek to criticise those who put them in place.

A grand day out, many thanks. Always wanted to run in the Howgill Fells and really enjoyed their rather massive isolation and all that grass.
I tried my new reverse Wendy Dodds strategy for the first time.
Gave my re-soled Walsh PB Racers a spin too.

A grand day out indeed, thanks to all concerned. First race since march, good to be back. Felt surprisingly good. Nice to see a few forumites, cheers to Witton Park for the shout at the first checkpoint. Clear day meant you could see for miles, but i always fall over when sightseeing!

Sorry, had a quick look but my memory fails me. I think The Noor was second, about 3 mins behind the winner whose name escapes me. A really good turn-out by Rossendale MV50s, where my interest lies.

Yep, fantastic race and great weather.
