    I've never done this and therefore don't know the route. Could someone be so kind as to post the checkpoints

    Is 10.00 still the meeting time, also, what time do you think for the recce, is three hours about right. (Need to try and balance child care).

    Hi Wobblehead,

    10:00 is the 'notional' meeting time.
    If it's anything like previous reccies then I would allow 4hrs. Weather is looking good so plenty of time for chatting, drinking and eating...oh and a bit of running

    We're leaving Preston at half 8 so it depends how fast or slow the driver is!!

    I'll put me lead boots on and see if we can get there earlier

    Right - just removed a boundary, moulded in a couple of re-entrants, added a knoll here and there, thats Emmilou & Hopey sorted......now then how to test Moo on having read that incredibly interesting article.......

    Just as long as you leave the shake holes alone I'll be ok (do they have them in the lakes? )

    I think I'm going round Sunday morning, so make sure you leave a good line round the route?

    Any local tips Chris?
