    Question for the CX experts...

If you were building a bike up from scratch would you build it with both cross top brake levers and STI's, or just stick with the STI's ?

I'd say both.... made a massive difference for me on the Three Peaks and on more traditional cross races. Also surprisingly nice to have on the bike if you're using it as a winter trainer on the road.

i reckon experts wouldn't have 'em...( how can you go fast in a race sitting so upright and in a non aggressive position )

    got them on mine though

one thing though, if you ride your cx bike alot and also your road bike...you can find yourself going for non existent brakes on the road bike....weird
