    went out on the mickledon route with a few detours. about 10 miles as we had to head back due to first the guy I was running with hurting his ankle then I went over on mine. Saw a couple from Holmfirth heading up Cugate

    Good 2 hr leg session in the hotel gym:
    Bike warm up
    Long stretching(inc. ITB roller work, this time using a barbell.Ow.)
    1 legged wobble board action
    Weights on each muscle grp (inc. ad&abductors)
    Squats & lunges
    Plyometrics, box jumps, etc.
    Hill blast on bike
    Another long bit of stretching.

    Won't be walking for rest of week!

    A bit over 1 1/2 hrs last night on roads inc my usual - hill reps up a steep road (4 x 1mile & ~500ft). Feel A OK today.

    Tried to do the route of the long mynd valleys race yesturday . Its a winter race and when I tried to run it yesturday the route was all over run with braken so it took me more than an hour longer than when I did the race in Feb . FOUR hours ! By the time I'd got back I was in a mess . I really sruggled to muster the energy to go to the pub

    Full on total body circuit in the hotel gym before breakfast.
