I really, really struggle to comprehend just how and why so many forumites seem to have such humungous running shoe 'stables' behind them to feed their hobby - I imagine a floor to ceiling shelving system controlled by a clever voice activated computer terminal where, by speaking in the ground and weather conditions, a robot arm buzzes and whirs into action and selects your requisite shoes for you

I have two pairs of running shoes, a pair of Walsh PB Elite Extremes that I wear for running 99.9999999% of the time and my 'posh' saloman trail running shoes that I wear well to to go out really and for the very occasional road run. When my Walshes are totalled I buy another pair. Simple
