    Re: :D Barefoot Running

I have fallen a number of times on wet grass when sprinting in barefeet when turning a corner, I find I still slip in the VFF KSO but for some reason I dont slip as bad in the Classic, looking forward to the trek later this month I hope its the answer to my prayers.

I'd love a go in the trek, but don't think I'll be able to justify another 80-100 quid on a pair of "shoes" to the missus ever again! I'm known as the Imelda Marcos of barefoot running in my house.

Love to Pilgrim, and still do occasionally, but have to admit the majority of the places I like to run are just too much for pure barefoot, the same for extended periods in the 'Brams. So for most stuff I'm using X-Talons until either inov-8 comes out with their new show, or I can persuade the missus that I really need the treks

I got my KSOs for £50 hand carried back from the states , same plan for the Trek so a big saving. I really like the Talons on the rougher stuff bit stick with the F-lites on the trails and roads.

I really, really struggle to comprehend just how and why so many forumites seem to have such humungous running shoe 'stables' behind them to feed their hobby - I imagine a floor to ceiling shelving system controlled by a clever voice activated computer terminal where, by speaking in the ground and weather conditions, a robot arm buzzes and whirs into action and selects your requisite shoes for you .

I have two pairs of running shoes, a pair of Walsh PB Elite Extremes that I wear for running 99.9999999% of the time and my 'posh' saloman trail running shoes that I wear well to to go out really and for the very occasional road run. When my Walshes are totalled I buy another pair. Simple

Loads of my mates waste loads of money on some stupid thing they call golf ?
My intire array of fine sporting shoes still cost less than a set of clubs and a camp tshirt
