Well where can you get to SS? From google maps, journey times from Nelson are 48 minutes to Ingleton, 45 to Horton in Ribblesdale and 35 minutes to Settle. As for runs, I have frigging hundreds to choose from ranging from easy 1 hourers to gut busting 5 hourers. A real goody for example is a 15 miler from Ingleton up Whernside and Ingleborough and back which takes me 3 hours give or take (2:45 on a really good day).Originally Posted by southernsoftie
