...We then came back from CP4 and ended up too high - on Blake Fell - but CP5 was Sharp Knott!...

But it was clag all the way - wind - rain - for a typical club fell runner like me, I would say that only around 30% of the route was runnable.

Well organised and thanks to CFR for putting it on - but no thanks for the weather and NAV leg that you constructed!

...sounds like wharfeego and me had the same epic as yous twixt 4 to 5 We ended up contouring back on some rather delightful scree...

If it has to be a Cross Country, you can come and do the Northern at Witton for us - fond memories for you - that was probably the best I've seen anyone run around Witton.

We are thinking of entering a team or two in PWB relays.
Would invlve some checking out of the route.
Looking forward to the Northerns and Nationals next year. At least the northerns being at WP will mean they run smoothly.

Enjoyed nav leg. Proper fell running with great mix of terrain. Having an ace navigator as team mate, who spent a day or two recceing, might have helped

in salford presumably
