Oh!! sh*t , just remembered, going there tonight for the weekend. Still there's always Black Sheep ( if Stolly does't mind me drinking one of his girlfriends)
Whilst Black Sheep beer is okay crumbly TT Landord and Skipton Brewery Golden Pippen (and quite a few others come to that) are much nicer. Whenever I'm in a pub and an 'outsider' orders a pint of Black Sheep, when other better beers are on offer, I feel the urge to educate the poor unknowing sod but... well 'he's not from round here' so who cares anyway

I'm partial to the odd pint or 6 of Riggwelter. But then what would I know as a Midlander?

I like Yorkshire puddings and I even tried this Riggwelter stuff... as well as Black Sheep... but have forgotten which was which and which I like better...

I do however vividly remember what Sneck Lifter tastes like

Yes, it looks like I need a multiple tasting experience to remember a beer, with my bad memory

Where were you DJ yesterday, I did Saltergate Gallows race in glorious sunshine, managed to lose a shoe in a bog 400metres from the finish and lost two places also , good trot out though.
Met a forumite TrogD, no chance to chat as it was at start of race and I had to shoot off for dinner afterwards as passout nearly ran out (i was on mountain bike all Sat morning as well) Good race, a bit of everthing!!!!
