I agree with you about Carlton Stolly. When I worked abroad for a few years I booked a "holiday cottage" in Carlton for a trip home. It turned out to be a damp terraced house we ended up spending as little time as we could in! The rest of the place, as you describe it, sounds the same though but you missed out the great view of the Crematorium
