    It is a bit steamy isn't it?! Forgive the pun...but it is a poem about taking a bath (honest guv) so it is good clean fun! I did look up the Auden poem and that is even more risque.

    Passion...a wonderful thing (us fell runners must be full of it to slog through ice and mud and keep going back for more).

    Hey, OW, loved your report tonight and also the various haikus from folks about bonfire night. I am just trying to recall one I thought up earlier today...you have to write them down immediately, they are like snowflakes, beautiful and ephemeral.

    I know what you mean...I was a bit shocked when I read it and it threw the other poem into a rather different light but well...it is good to have your horizons broadened (I think!?) He was good at rhyming!
