    a trip round the Skyline today to celebrate Ken Jones (Kinder doz and Killer route initiater) birthday

    You know the Stats 20+ miles + a bit of climbing...
    Almost did the same but forgot to take some money for petrol so had to go local. I imagine it was a little boggy on places today ?

    boggy, claggy (20m vis around Brown Knoll to Grindslow) cold, but only a very light wind with the odd bit of drizzle. still in shorts though.ran all the way up Lose Hill.

    4 miles across the very waterlogged field near me with the head-torch after uni.
    God you dont half scare youself silly running in the dark........but i got super super muddy and didnt half stink of cow/sheep shite.

    Plus...i SMASHED my previous PB for the route.

    7 miles on the roads.
    10 minute warm up
    2.8 mile time trial with saddleworth- 1 lap of the sadd 6 for those that know it-16:42
    Jog back round to greenfield upto the White Hart and then a hard last mile back home

    Headtorch run over Pendle with the club. 6.2mi/1,982ft.

    Visibility poor due to lots of mist. Nasty cut and bruise on me leg after losing my footing and hitting a rock on the way down to FTOP CP9. Like a brave boy I soldiered on.

    Hacking cough on the way round hit me at the car park after. Feel better now though. Reckon that run's done me good.
