I thought i was loosing the plot at one point on my run tonight....i couldnt work out whether it was mist....or ghosts all walking about as i was passing a VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY dark and remote church and graveyard....yes i sh*t myself...but i remained calm and carried on running fast.![]()
A tasty little training session with the poly involving warm up then running up and down hills, across the beach and a bit of grass....and tomorrow i think i'll venture out into northumberland....can't wait![]()
It’s been a long summer/autumn since the speed induced injuries caused me to pause for breath in April.
Speed work is now a thing of the past
Back on the road to fitness again, the last couple of weeks:
Sun: 30 min
Mon 90: min
Tue: 30 min
Wed: 60 min
Thu: 30 min
Fri: 60 min
Sat: 30 min
5 miles on the treadmill- 31:54
Gradually building up my 'long' runs again - just under 80mins on Danefield & Chevin, weather was positively benign given the forecast with very little wind and just one heavy shower - the best part of the run![]()
