Pleased everything went well for you! Have you got to have follow up appointments or can you just put your feet up now?

Just me left now with the jaw thing. Starting to get into a mild fret with it - my jaws will be wired together for 6 weeks. Feel a bit silly really having read all the stories above, as my op is mostly for cosmetic purposes, although because the bite isn't right some of my teeth migh fall out when I'm older. Slight risk of blindness with the op though. Arrgh!!!

I have to wait for the results...they send the yucky removed stuff off for testing. If that comes back ok then it's a follow up in 6 months. If everyting is still clear then it's monitoring. If not more treatment.

The best thing I can do is forget it ever happened and deal with whatever comes in the mail at the time. Time for some head in the sand behaviour!

11 days post op now. Looking less like Bo Selecta, although I'm still living off soup. Lost a few pounds so far - I don't think having your jaws wired together will make it onto any top ten diet lists though.
