Oooh that is tricky. One at a time to start with....

I sometimes feel a bit thick.
    What is Devil's Walking Stick?
    Aralia spinosa.
    So now I knowsa.

    Re: Today's poet

I strolled round woods near Limerick
Through swathes of Devil's Walking Stick
    I thought it was fun
Til I found on my bum
    A large 'merican Dog Tick

As near as I'm going to get I think!

I quite agree. I'd have nothing to post if I stopped writing dubious rhymes!

    I've written this quick limerick
It'll cling like a Yankee dog tick:
    Once inside your head,
    You'll gnaw off your leg
So'll need the Devil's own walking stick

Had to change some of the words a bit, but it just about hangs together. Doesn't it?
