    Am i invisible to you,
    When you look do you see straight through,
    Do the things i say register at all,
    No matter if big, no matter if small.

    Like Mr Cellophane do you know my name,
    Am i so insignificant that you play your silly game,
    I might as well not be here for what you know of me,
    Repeatedly told about your faults and your own stupidity.

    If life can be wasted then that is myself,
    I don't have charm,looks,intelligence or wealth,
    The only thing i can do is live as i can,
    And accept the fact i am an imperfect man.

    What a great night of poetry! I really wish I could have been here to share it with you but I have been honouring work and friend commitments before the big off. It looks like it is just me now so I will look out something to leave you with until I can find an internet cafe down some crazy backstreet once I've fought my way past the sacred cows, curry stalls and Bollywood stars!

    Swallows travel to and fro

    Swallows travel to and fro,
    And the great winds come and go,
    And the steady breezes blow,
    Bearing perfume, bearing love.
    Breezes hasten, swallows fly,
    Towered clouds forever ply,
    And at noonday, you and I
    See the same sunshine above.

    Dew and rain fall everywhere,
    Harvests ripen, flowers are fair,
    And the whole round earth is bare
    To the moonshine and the sun;
    And the live air, fanned with wings,
    Bright with breeze and sunshine, brings
    Into contact distant things,
    And makes all the countries one.

    Let us wander where we will,
    Something kindred greets us still;
    Something seen on vale or hill
    Falls familiar on the heart;
    So, at scent or sound or sight,
    Severed souls by day and night
    Tremble with the same delight -
    Tremble, half the world apart

    Robert Louis Stevenson

    The Fallow Deer At The Lonely House
    by Thomas Hardy

    One without looks in tonight
    Through the curtain-chink
    From the sheet of glistening white;
    One without looks in tonight
    As we sit and think
    By the fender-brink.

    We do not discern those eyes
    Watching in the snow;
    Lit by lamps of rosy dyes
    We do not discern those eyes
    Wandering, aglow
    Four-footed, tiptoe.

    Good morning all, have a lovely monday....

    Supposing i dreamed (this)

    supposing i dreamed this)
    only imagine,when day has thrilled
    you are a house around which
    i am a wind-

    your walls will not reckon how
    strangely my life is curved
    since the best he can do
    is to peer through windows,unobserved

    -listen,for(out of all
    things)dream is noone's fool;
    if this wind who i am prowls
    carefully around this house of you

    love being such,or such,
    the normal corners of your heart
    will never guess how much
    my wonderful jealousy is dark

    if light should flower
    or laughing sparkle from
    the shut house(around and around
    which a poor wind will roam

    You are a house around which I am a wind.

    What a good line to end on.
